Thumbs up ERA2031 is in the house

Da Bunnies had their own spies watching me this week while I waited for ERA 2031 to arrive from Washington state. Over countless hills and dales it went, sometimes taking the high road, sometimes taking the low road, through rain, sleet, and snow it journeyed, and finally it's in it's new home.

First impressions, well, let's just say the pictures tell the tale

Put 35 miles on her last night (for my typical 8.4 mile drive home), drove it to work this morning, will be taking Deb for a cruise this evening before the weather turns ugly again........

Bill S.

PS: Adam, you really built one heck of a car........She'll be well taken care of here on the other side of the country.........

Bill: Glad to see it arrived safe and sound. Hope you get many enjoyable years driving your new toy as I was able to see how excited you were about your new addition. Bob Q.

Your timing was impeccable. How much did you have to pay for that? Hope to get a little Cobra time in today. Happy trails Bill.

Looking real sharp! Might want to paint those wheels black, though...

What a treat to have it arrive during this heat wave! Enjoy!

I'm so glad you like it. You are clearly the perfect guy to get it in my opinion. My wife and I cried when it departed, but I'm not Jay Leno. Can only afford one super-car at a time.

Adam,

I am sure it was not easy to sell your car, but as you said, it went to a good home. Best of luck with your next car!

Bill,

Congratulations!

Great photos ... post a few more once you have a chance to really go over the car. It will be interesting to see what, if any, modifications you make to 2031 as time goes by.

You Cobra buddies are very happy for you !

- Tim

Modifications planned right now:

Oil Cooler for track use (thermostatically controlled unit)
Switch from Halon to Coldfire for fire suppression system (Halon in an open car like the Cobra is shown to be ineffective)
Might go with a street dash layout (wife's only complaint, a lack of a glove box)

Otherwise, the car is about as perfect as I could hope for.
