Talking First Steps

Hey Bob,

I met with Peter P Saturday and it looks like the body of my car will be bonded to the frame this week. Peter says that the unit would be at the point where ERA would ship it to the painter by early next week. I guess that's where I start. I will be painting the car myself and assembling most of the mechanical as well.

My question is: will I be picking up a truck load of pieces with the body/frame all at once, or will the mechanical be ready at a latter date? I'm looking for the ERA - 6 pin wheels & suspension, upgraded brakes, Richmond 5-speed, etc., etc., etc.

Thanks for the help.
Todd

Todd,

We usually install as much as we can to simplify packing. The trans will be separate, and if you're not getting a "roller" (just parts), they'll be in boxes too. Most of the time everything will fit right in the kit trunk and passenger compartment, although if you're using an open trailer, I'd find a more protected place.
