Default Self adhesive felt for soft top

Has anyone who has put their own soft top together found a source for self adhesive felt strips to put under the back edge at the lift-a-dot tabs for paint protection? I checked McMaster Carr but didn't find anything in black.

Thanks

Dan

JoAnn Fabrics or other craft stores will have it.

I'll see if we have a JoAnn fabric shop around here. I was having enough trouble getting an adhesive backed, heavy-weight black felt to pop up on the internet that I figured it would be a long shot in a local store. But I'll give it a try.

Thanks

I see they have website sales - I'll check it out.

You may have to use regular felt with contact cement...

Or, use the soft side of adhesive backed Velcro.

I've tried this: Amazon.com: JVCC FELT-06 Polyester Felt Tape (1mm thick felt): 3/4 in. x 75 ft. (Black): Home Improvement
unfortunately, it doesn't stick at all on the Soft top or tonneau cover.
