Default Bob P., What Is This?

I had the wheel well panel out on the passenger side today, and with the battery removed, you can see what looks like a hook type thingy mounted to the inside top of the fender wall. What is it?

#782 doesn't have a bracket there. Looks like it could be used as a support for the vent hose - with a zip tie or metal band and screw. Or maybe a retainer for one of the battery cables.

It's too far back (towards the firewall) for any of that. It looks like a clasp that's been epoxied on there. Strange.

I replied in error from a faulty memory. My car does have that tab. I'm just now starting to assemble my car but I pulled the box out with the vent ducts and the pass side has two stainless steel bands. One secures towards the front of the wheel well and now I think the second one secures to that tab. You may be missing one. Sorry for the mistake.

Yup. It's a support hanger for the fresh air hose. Meant for a tie-wrap.

You can use that hook to hang your latest Ron Popeil Signature Series diagnostic tool for measuring sub-atomic particles in a 20 AMP fuse!
