Bummer indeed! The Guys @ ERA are know for being a little slow on the productions of their rollers/turnkeys; no matter what model was ordered. But man! They make up for it with a truely awsome & quality product!! I see the price of the existing ERA GT40's going up, up Up!

I would have to think that a combination of very long wait times, along with excellent quality and build numbers from competitors like Superformance, simply moved many willing buyers toward that end of the spectrum. That and the Ford GT, which continues to yield tremendous resale value. It's a much different market now than when they first started building these.

Sad--I had hoped to move up to one and build it in the future.

This one is a local car up here, it's awesome!

The 289 slab market seems to be keeping them pretty busy.

That's really disappointing! I was saving my pennies with the real intention by buying an ERA 7 Litre MKII some time this decade Looks like I'll have to try an find an alternative manufacturer but I'm not sure there is one with the same passion for originality and quality products. Sad day!

Another person pointed out that it might just be the MKI and not the MKII or MKII Spyder. After going back to the ERA website, it does look like thats the case. Maybe the 427 cars are in more demand?

My dream is dead. I also planned to build one within the next 10 years or so.

Has ERA decided to temporarily or permanently cease production? How come?

Hopefully, Bob from ERA will comment since its been a few years since the ceased taking new orders. Maybe there's enough interest for them too consider starting up production once again.

I don't make those decisions. My understanding is that The GTs have been a money-losing line for several years.
