Default Today is a good day, I know what I want :)

In a crazy jungle of options - today I know exactly what I want to build.

At first it was all 427. But this thing has been tingling in the back of my mind, growing and growing in size - and today I know what it is.

Its a 289FIA, USRRC clone. Yes, it will have webers. Yes, it will have a high-revving alu-blocked engine. Yes - I can´t wait to get my finances together!

Image stolen online, but who cares!

Congratulations J.Jensen
I made the same decision some time ago, and I'm getting my finances together too!
So, got the body config. decided, got the engine decided....so the next major decision is (as Dimis said) what colour? That can be a harder decision than some may think!
Cheers,
Glen

Now that that is decided - you will be more anxious than ever to get the finances in order. Good luck.

Nice choice. Plenty of time to figure out the color and other fine details as you get your finances together. ERA makes a fine machine.

J.Jensen

Great choice!

Talk with Jim Holden, he has a lot of experience with ERA and get your name on Peter’s list, sometimes it can take a while for the craftsmen of New Britain to build a car. Well worth the wait … and it will give you plenty of time to pick the color !!

Did the 6? USRRC cars race in any other colour than blue?

J.J.
Congratulations and I know what you've gone through so far. I feel I lucked out last summer when I found my ERA 289 FIA Street Cobra parked, not running since 2002, in a barn! Built by ERA and had 488 miles when parked. It took about 1.5 hours to bring her back to life and make reliable. I understand "new", but I didn't have to wait, either. Anyway, watching YouTube videos helped me a bit while I waited for it to arrive. Enjoy the whole experience.

I'm not a Cobra expert but I pretend to be one on the cc forum and I gotta say ERA is the best looking of the replicas.

Good luck on your new ride!
