Wilf,
I fully concur regarding drinking whilst driving. The potential to waste a drop through spillage would be equally devastating to me as the taste of it would be any less than ice cold.
Best Wishes to you too for a Happy Holiday season from a sweltering Cobra nut downunder.

Default More Heat

Perhaps after the heater you might consider a few cup holders, or a place to store the laptop & cell phone?

May be even a DVD system for the passenger?

If you figureout away, let Bob P. know.

P.S. I just finished installing the defroster/heater in car 611.

Good luck
Todd

Let me tell you, who ever wrote that line about Frosty being a "jolly happy sole!" had to be driving a Cobra! or drinking some of that warm ale!

While visiting Detroit last month I managed to convince Bill Wells (now called Frosty) to come to my hotel and give me a ride in his SPF. It took several cups of coffee, a hot buffet breakfast and a good looking blond to finally warm the poor fella up! Temp was clear and 35 degrees! After a 40 minute drive to get there he needed it!

He gave me a ride, but that was after we let the car warm up for 20 minutes or so to get the engine temp high enough to drive! No heat, no top, no hot toddie, just he brisk cold of winter in Detroit...... and I loved every minute of it!

Bill gets my man of the year award!

Heaters in California.... you got to be kidding!

Thanks again Bill! Happy Holidays to all!
