Default Wilwood replacement calipers

Bob,
Wilwood makes a direct bolt-on caliper to replace the GM item. It would be
either GM D52 or GM D154. Aside for the better look and the weight savings
would these calipers provide any performance benefit? They are two piston
vs. the GM single piston and aluminum vs. cast iron. Thanks.

I haven't had a chance to check out the Wilwood specs. Previously, I've found that ssbrakes.com had an equivalent 2-piston aluminum caliper that would directly substitute for the GM. (A185S) That exact part number isn't listed anymore. I'll have to do some calculations to match the piston area of their (and Wilwood's) current offerings.
*Calcs done. 2x43mm pistons almost exactly matches the area of 1x2.375". If the Wilwoods have a similar piston size, they should work OK without changing the master cylinder.
