It still may fit. Kind of hard to tell from just a photo but as far as accurate as original, no.

The standard set of FIA wheels won't fit without modifying to wheel flares. The wheels will bump out a little in the front, and a lot in the rear. Using 7.5" (front wheels) all around could look pretty cool. Maybe see if you can get some custom offset wheels from PS Engineering. Their wheel looks more authentic as well, though I believe a bit more $ and tough to get ahold of.

Hi and thank you for the reply.
Okay, well that answers about the FIA wheels. Yes, I was assuming the fronts would be used all the way around too... Thanks.
That being said, the Daytons are 7" wide (according to the information from the link above) and the Torq-Thrusts are as well, so was wondering if those might fit to a slab side ?
If the Slab Side wire wheels are not 7", then that also answers the question.
If one has to go to flared wheel openings, then the FIA in street version makes more sense.
Anyway, am really excited to see this build happen

The "Mk II" production leaf spring Cobras used 6" wire wheels. If ERA's dimensions are accurate to original, the "FIA" wheel will be too wide for an unmodified flare.

If you use small "skinny" tires the FIA will work

Thank you very much.
Went to the American Racing website and they list 6" wide Torq-Thrust wheels, but guess it would also require an understanding of what offset is needed, too.
The OP mentioned going with the Dunlop wheels and they really do look nice
Still and all, do like those satin black T-T D wheels
Running narrower tires should make for a nice, nimble sports car, too.

Dunlop doesn't make Rudge spline, well-laced (center lace) wire wheels as far as I know. Could be wrong though.
Dayton and MWS make copies that are pretty close in appearance. Both would have a "curly" center hub and are well-laced. Backspace for the 6" Cobra style wheel is approximately 79mm.

Tires look a little wider than the rims but, not too excessive. Really gives the car a meaty look. I agree. Kidneys are one of my favorite cobra wheels. I've seen that blue on another 289 car recently. I don't know if it was a color that Shelby shipped?

Racewhere has a set of PSE kidney beans that could be used. Would be very cool. You going six pin or adapters. ??? I might suggest 6 pin as keeps options open in wheels.
Spline are for wires however they do make adapters for pin type wheels to modify onto spline.
I would get optional rear assembly as well.
Outboard brakes and tons of adjustment.
