B/W photos of #782

Playing around with a new camera and after seeing a few vintage black & white photos of older cars I thought I would try this out on my ERA.

Also thought I would try it out on the rest of the Ford stable but the effect is just not the same.

MIGHTY SWEET!

The old saying: "once you go black, you never go back" could certainly apply.

Beautiful!!! (the first 6 pics, that is :3DSMILE: . The others are ok)

DanEC 08-30-2015 01:10 PM

Thanks. Yes, I agree the black and white just doesn't look right with newer cars.

How about a 67 GTX instead?

Very nice!

B+W shots look great, I agree. Really suits 'period' subjects....and you've got some good subjects there.
I've been playing with B+W a little too on scenery shots; some come out looking a bit average, but some look sensational. Definitely worth experimenting!

Cheers,
Glen

That ERA is spectacular. Love it.

Here's a look at an ERA S/C (my old #594) for some comparison..

Dan,

I agree that the B&W effect works better with the older style cars. What you have to do now is get a photo of the cobra at a hamburger stand...

Very nice pictures and the black and white really makes the Cobra and older cars look more correct to me.

Thanks guys. Yes, the hamburger drive in would be a great idea. Wish we had an old fashioned one around here.

Naaah, it's still warm here and that's just an older pic. After seeing this thread, I watched a YouTube video on how to use Photoshop to make it look like an old black and white pic.

B&W almost makes that beige palatable ;)
