ERA 289 FIA wanted

Dear Cobristis,
i'm a silent reader since years, now it's time to step into action :)
Looking for a ERA 289 FIA "Race Stile". Due to, that the car will go to EU, it must/should fullfill some criterias:
- Must be titled older than 30 years (US title is ok)
- Must NOT be registered as a Replica (Ford Roadster or Ford Convertible would be perfect)
- no "obvious modern" components (e.g. ABS, EFI, etc)
- Ford small block prefered
- Quick Jacks prefered

Thank you!

Not sure ERA made them that far back?

Might look for early 427 ERA or Contemporary, might be your best bet

I think he means titled as a 65. There's one for sale in the sellers section here. You'd have to ask the owner how it's titled.

Depends on what he wants
Value if optional rear and Webers have no interest.

$16500 difference in price can buy a whole bunch of other parts if the buyer wishes, or he might just not want to spend one third more to buy himself a different ERA FIA.

I didn't say $62K is overpriced, I just think $46K for the car advertised here is good value.

Thanks to all for your thoughts...i already saw Steves FIA, but 60k is over my budget, due to the upcoming fees and taxes i have to pay on top...looking forward.
And yes, titled as 30 years old is fine :)

Team,
still looking for a ERA 289 FIA Competition, i was just too late for Steves car.
Due to, that the car will go to EU, it must/should fulfill some criterias:
- Must be titled older than 30 years (US title is ok)
- Must NOT be registered as a Replica (Ford Roadster or Ford Convertible would be perfect)
- Ford small block prefered
- ERA IRS/big brake options prefered

If anybody is aware of a car or thinking about selling, please pm.

Thank you, Ronald
