Thanks everyone - I appreciate the kind words. Still plenty to do, but it sure is nice seeing it move under its own power! I'll post more pictures soon that show so some of the fun bits and pieces I've collected from talented folks such as Armrer that really make it a cool tribute to the originals.

Yeah! Looking forward to seeing that Andrew. Those little extra bits can really make a difference to an already great replica.
Cheers!

Alignment appointment is scheduled for tomorrow morning so I'll feel better putting more shakedown miles on once that is dialed in.
I took a few quick pictures but they really don't do it justice.

Fantastic! Isn’t great to see a dream come together?

Looks great, Andrew. That's a perfect combination of colours for a slabside.
Congratulations!
Cheers,

Thanks for the kind words! An extra thanks to Armrer for recreating the seat tracks, washer button, and charge light bezel - they are all fantastic. I absolutely loved including these detail pieces in my build.

Well, thanks for the compliments on the parts. If you like those, I have Lucas #103, 104 mirror stems for the cowl mirror. Brackets are in the works.
Again, gorgeous car!

I actually have a 104, but unfortunately the mirror that came from ERA has a wider base and the 104 base does not cover the holes in the cowl. I was able to use the glass on the ERA supplied stem though.
