Default I'm finally in the club!!

I've been a cobra admirer since I was a little kid and always dreamed of someday owning one. I'm thrilled to say that day has come! I'm the proud owner of ERA #720. I've been a member of this group for many years and I learned a ton reading all of your posts. Thank you to everyone, I look forward to being a contributor. I'm in CT and I'd love to meet up with other owners if there's a ride or meet up coming up.

Nice! Great color. I’m not too far from you. Is this the car from Colorado?

Great colour combination!
I'm an ERA 'friend' and admirer (from a distance)....congratulations on your choice.
More details of what's under the hood, and which gearbox you have?

Cheers,
Glen

Congratulations and you have a beautiful car there. I like the color and you are going to have a lot of fun. Just take it easy until you learn the quirks that all of these cars have.

Congratulations on your cobra. ERA makes a nice car. Enjoy the summer and fall driving seasons. Take your time getting to know her before you test her spirit.

Thank you, no it's not from Colorado. I know the car you mean though, I was watching that one for a while but it was gone before I had my money in place. Looked like a nice car

Thanks Glen, it's a 428 with a tremec. There were three things in my search that I wasn't willing to compromise on. # 1. Had to have a big block #2. Had to have 5 speed #3 had to be an ERA. Black side pipes were a preference I just happened to luck out on, same with the color.

Congrats and welcome. Labor Day weekend there are a bunch of us ERA owners that meet at Lime Rock for the races and on Sunday the car show. On Sunday afternoon we set out on a cruise for a few hours and then dinner and home. It would be a fun ride up there for you and a great chance to meet a bunch of other ERA crazies. I have the same setup in my car and I love it. Great cruiser.

This sounds like a lot of fun. I'll definitely try to make that. Thank you for letting me know about it.

Congrats and welcome. Very nice car and as others have said, be careful and learn the car before going to crazy! Love your setup, wish I had the 5 speed...one day hopefully.
I am also in CT, Southbury. My car has been in a state of repairs for a while now and I just had back surgery so I wont be doing much this year with the Cobra or my bike. There are lots of rides and events to go on and to. HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR NEW TOY!!!
