824 is Home!
After a nerve racking 20 minutes watching the Intercity driver backing the car out of the trailer, I signed the paperwork and drove off (to get gas--man this thing's thirsty!)

Congratulations!, that is a beautiful car. So nice to see a street version with Sunbursts. I own ERA#677 which is also done as a street version with Sunbursts. I love mine and I'm sure you'll love yours.

Brandon of Big B's Auto did the paint and I'm delighted with it. The color is 1966 Jag BRG.
Congratulations on getting yours started. It really is worth the wait!

Holy Smokes!! Where are all the BRG street car coming from??? Mine is now 95% done, and was hoping to post finished pictures before all the rest showed up Beautiful shade, I ended up with a 60's era called Zagato Dark, Lancia, Ferrari, Maserati had this color. Congrats ACHiPo, on yours, I may be a bit bias, but just doesn't any better then this We may just meet up this summer, we are (PNW Club Cobra members) planning a trip down the Ore. Coast the end of July. Maybe drive up? Cheers Tom.

My new car will be ERA FIA #2158. My starter Cobra was ERA #649, a very nice car that will be for sale very soon if anyone is interested.

Tom,
That would be great if I can pull it off. First coast trip is down to Big Sur, but heading up 101 would be great as well. I've got a very good friend in Port Orford, so I have a "destination". Hopefully Andy will have his slabside done in time for summer. Whodeeny is planning a trip out west as well. His car and mine are VERY close (but mine's got a luggage rack ;-) )
Evan

Yes, I am here. Lets keep in touch for the summer, maybe I will get mine finished up and registered in time for the summer drive along the coast. The wiring is about 90% complete (I had a couple of failures and am waiting for parts from ERA) and the upholstery is about 60% complete. Then it is fire up the engine and jump through the registration hoops.

Senior Scottie and I did a nice little road trip, a couple of Septembers ago, up HWY 1 through CA and then all along the Oregon and Washington coast and it was OUTSTANDING! I certainly recommend it. I liked WA and OR coast better than HWY 1, except it didn't have Monterey and Big Sur. I'm going to do the reverse trip this summer, starting in Mid-August, in hopes of avoiding rain. I'll head up to Kalsipell MT, maybe on up to Banff, and then West to the coast, before heading southbound. 5000 miles for me.

Hate. Hate. Hate .. hate...hate...hate.. Is that enough hate mail for you, Tom? If not I can send more, although why you would want it befuddles me. In any event, those are both beautiful cars guys and the lack of stripes only shows you are grown up and don't need to show off to get noticed.

That was the correct amount of hate post's I thought I would get, just didn't know all of them would be from one person I feel better Dan, now that we have that out of the way . Back to Evan's beautiful new ERA. Cheers Tom.
