Triggered? Not at all. Just waiting for the normal conversations that ensue after someone posts a Cobra with an off brand engine and the guys come out of the wood work to defend it with lame excuses.
Absolutely, you can do whatever you want with your car, but don’t try to pass it off with some of the excuses that we’ve all heard.
I sincerely doubt this fella went to all that trouble and expense so he could "pass it off" to anyone as anything other than exactly what he wants it to be. As to who gets to play judge and why it needs to be defended - I find that laughable as well, lol!

Well, I've been around a while so 2022 is way up to date for me. Sorry if I offend your sensibilities with my unfashionable use of the language.

Shelby had links to the Viper and it was even loosely touted as the modern-day reincarnation of the Cobra, so hopefully the defenders of the faith will find this combination palatable and give it their blessing
Dynamically - I wonder what the car actually feels and handles like though. I would imagine that the size of the V10 would mandate a more forward-biased weight distribution, but since it's in a Classic Roadsters chassis the longer wheelbase might offset that a bit.

Could that be "Double Venom" car??? I believe his was a Classic Roadster.
The original Double Venom car was a Classic Roadsters car Tommy. I've wondered from time to time what became of it and whether anyone here has any insight into how it drove and performed.

Double Venom 1 was the raffle car at the 2004 Double Venom Spring Fling
Chuck the winner of the car sold it in 2010
There is lots of info about it and the Double Venom II (with a tilt C4 style front end) here and DV was on Viper forums too
It kicks ass and sticks like glue
I think the one for sale in the post above is it
Cobra Make, Engine: Don't think I'll be getting a Cobra for a long time... Do have '94 RX-7 R2.

The Cobra with Viper engine YouTube "for sale video" is from March 25, 2020. I assume the car was sold long ago.
