Default Master cylinder upgrade Questions

Hi Bob
I am planining to do my yearly upgrade to ERA 148, I don't know if you remember me but I work at Metal-Morphous, Inc. We can plate anything (even fiberglass)with metals like aluminum, bronze, brass and so on, I dropped off some samples for you to look at. Anyway last time I was in to visit someone had mention that I should change to the new master cylinders. Is there a problem with the ones I have? If not what is the difference and what is involved in the change over? My frame is painted with Imron and I think there is some welding involved so the repair on that is no problem ( I do my own welding and painting) Any information is appreciated

Ron,

The new Tilton setup makes a noticable improvement in pedal feel and reliability, but it isn't absolutely necessary. Obviously, cutting off the old bracket and welding on a new one is a significant project (probably about 8 hours of work altogether), so you'll have to decide whether it's that important. It's a nice winter project, so you might consider it for next year.

Bob do you sell the setup as a retrofit kit or do I have to do some fabrication. If its a kit Bob, what parts does it consist of and will I have to purchase any other materials to complete the installation.Just one more question, can you quote me a price for the kit.
