Hood prop rod
Bob....
Can I buy a hood prop rod from you folks? The gas charged rods on my EM are shot......besides, I would rather have a OEM style rod for authenticity anyway.
thanks.....

Suggest you call 860-224-0253 and ask for Bryan. He will try to signal Peter and get you an answer.
The rod itself is just a bent piece of... well... rod with a clip to hold it when not in use.

Yes,
Bob is probably busy working on a three way switch for the radiator fan for me!
Call Peter, he is probably doing nothing. Maybe eating!

Turk,
It's a fairly major job changing the wiring to accommodate on-auto-off. Do you want to just stop the fan from running when the ignition is off? That's fairly easy.

Bob,
What I would like for the switch to do is.....
Position 1: It allows the fan to be controlled by the thermostatic switch like it does now.
Position 2: It Turns the fan off, like it does now.
Position 3:It shuts the fan off, regardless of the ignition position and the signal from the thermostatic switch. OFF period.
There is no urgency, just would like to be able to do that, to turn off the fan when it comes on after I have parked and few seconds later the fan kicks in.
