Default Under the knife - I mean socket

Well Bob,

Car 611 goes under the knife this weekend to remove one failed 428. Once remove I will journey to Danbury for reconstruction of said 428. Hope this is a successful procedure.

Anyway, while in the ICU, I plan to tweak the gas gage sending unit for accuracy. Right now it reads 3/4 full when the tank is 100% full. Any insight as to the adjustment on the Smith gage sender?

Thanks for the help.

Opps, I almost forgot, I will be repairing the broken speedo gear and/or cable. Would you have in stock the replacement parts?
Richmond 5 speed with the 3.01:1 ERA rearend.

Thanks again.
Todd

Todd,

I hope the operation is successful!

If you've got the electronic sender, there are a couple of adjustment screws on top. If you have the S/W sender, the arm can be bent and/or shortened.

We should have all the speedo drive parts in stock.
