Default Gas Tank- Drain Plug
Bob,
My gas tank drain plug is weeping. What do you recommend I use for sealer on the threads?? Teflon tape??

Steve,

Either use Teflon paste or non-hardening (Aviation) Permatex. It's black-brown color - not the stuff that looks like contact cement. Don't get it on your hands. It'll be on there for weeks, until your skin flakes off.
