Question for Bob - Smith's Speedo??
Bob,
Recently my speedo has begun to act up - sometimes it does not read at all - sometimes it reads, but bounces erratically - is this unit electrical??? - is it cable driven??? - do you have any ideas as to the problem with this speedo??

Had the same problem with my speedo and had to send it to Nisonger. They fixed it for about $110.
It is mechanical

You should have the same unit as James, originally from Nisonger. I would probably check the cable first, though.
