I'm sorry to hear that... your detailed answers to your owners questions at times were something to marvel at. I'll miss the posts.

I have to ask, is there any thing you don't know or have a sketch of?

I look forward to our paths crossing again when I am able to make my 289 purchase.

Ya all come back now, ya hear -John

I hope it wasn't all my fault.

I haven't said boo for sometime.

He will definetely be missed. However knowing ERA's way of doing business, the help coming from the "helpman" will probably be nothing short of what we have grown used to.

Good luck Bob, and I hope all is well.

Bob,

I will miss you and your advice. Thanks for all you have done.

Pat (ERA535)

Does this mean that questions to ERA on this Forum will go unanswered?

Nooooooo!!!! Bob, we miss you already!!!

Now wait a second....You posted that you'll not be answering questions regarding ERA, but you're still going to be around, right? We're not loosing Bob entirely are we???

I would like to express my sincerest appreciation for all you have done here Bob! There has been no other representative from any other manufacturer who has provided so much non biased technical support to any member who needed it, regardless of the make. You have been nothing but a class act and I hope to shake your hand one day. Thank you Bob!

Hey Bob,

Rats!

Let me add my voice to those who will sorely miss your presence, wit and really fine technical insight here.

I might hope this is a sabbatical and not a permanent absence!

Bob, I wondered if this would happen. I think I know which "straw" finally broke the camel's back...
I hope you personally will continue to give the excellent advice, suggestions, help and insight on things not ERA-specific that we've come to appreciate from you in general. You're a valuable asset and we'd hate to lose your input!

My Friends,

I will still monitor the board in the privacy of my own home, and maybe sneak a peak during the day. Everything I do now is, as my login name implies, is strictly personal and not affiliated with ERA.

For the most part, I will limit myself to general subjects, not ERA specific ones which must be covered through e-mail.

Thanks for your support.

Bob P.

That is a bad decision on ERA's part. Does this affect GT40s as well? Hope to see you in both places at least on the personal side. Best,

Ron

BOB - - -

GLAD YOU'RE STILL GOING TO BE AROUND.

SORRY THE VENU HAS CHANGED. YOU HAVE ALWAYS PUT A GREAT "FACE" ON ERA. YOU ARE PROBABLY THE BEST "P.R." REPRESENTATIVE ANY CAR COMPANY HAS EVER HAD.

I'LL STILL BE "BUGGING" YOU FROM TIME TO TIME BECAUSE YOU'RE THE ONE SOURCE AMONG ALL THAT I TRUST AND RESPECT THE MOST.

BEST OF LUCK - - AND - -

Y'ALL HAVE A REALLY GREAT DAY.

BLACKJACK

Bob, I will miss your input on this forum. Your contributions have been absolutely outstanding in nature--both in volume and quality of the information. You have set an example that I hope other manufacturers learn from. ERA should be proud of what you have done.
