dust cover on bell housing gt40

The dust cover on the bottom of the ERA bellhousing (GT40)doesn't appear to fit correctly. The radius of the opening does not match the radius of the cover. I was going to drill and tap 3 holes to hold the cover on. The two front holes are ok the middle hole is off the flat machined surface by 1/4".
Problem solved made a template from the bellhousing and trimmed cover to match. Drilled and taped looks good.
