Default 5 point belts

Does anyone at ERA have a lead on 5 point belts that work well with the original kit 4 point belts?

Is it required to replace the whole set up, or can the anti-sub belt be added to the others?

What special provisions have to be made to anchor the anti-sub belt?

Thank you
Todd

I could be wrong Todd but I am sure you can just add a Anti-Sub belt at anytime. I just bopught another one for my passenger seat a couple of weeks ago ($22.00).

Default 5th belt

Clois,
If you don't mind, where did you find the additional belt?

Todd,

Several of the speed shops here sell them individually. If you would like I will try and pick one or two up for you and mail them. However, I believe summit sells them seperately.

Todd I just called my speed shop and they run $13.99 ea and they have them in black and blue.

I have Deist 4 point harnesses and was able to by the sub straps, from Deist, to make them six point. They attach to the same point as the lap belt.

Clois,
Thanks, that's very generous of you.
I will take a look at Summit first.

Todd,
Are you set on going with 5 point? We were going to go with 5 point, until we realized that we would either have to find a seat with a hole in the cushion, or run the sub belt around the front of the seat (less than ideal). In addition to that, you would have to make an extra hole in the floor to mount the sub strap. With 6 point, you can avoid both situations. Either sub belt bolts to the same point as the lap belts and comes up and over the side of the seat. It's not much of a hassle, and is quite comfortable.
