Sal's ERA is really a nice piece of work. Very Nice job by ERA.
To answer your question regarding what could be plated?
I would suggest that the rear end suspension components could be Hot Coated in silver. ERA does alot of this coating done on suspension parts on the GT40s they build.
You could have the drive shaft, half shafts and all tie rods coated silver as well as front end suspension parts. I have seen this done and it looks really nice. You can also have the gas tank polished to a brite finish. Mine is done that way and it is like a mirror.
Also, as done on Sal's car, the engine compartment could be fitted with aluminum sides and if you want to gilt the lilley, you could do the trunk in aluminum as well.
