Russ,
I am not a fan of the flannel lined covers, they accumulate abrasive material. Look at the California Car Cover web site and get their better cover, what's a 300.00 car cover for a 60,000.00 car??? It's light weight and washable at home and if your out and get caught in the rain, put it over the car. It's waterproof except for the seams. A few drops is better than 1" in the floor. BTW I had the flannel cover (3 months) sold that baby.
Sears has one of the better Aluminum Racing Jacks, Craftsman Guarantee, you can catch them on sale for about 179.00.
Use thick nylon webbing on your jackstands (4 needed) this will prevent scratching the frame up. You can attach with adhesive or do a little duck tape work.
Can't wait for your assesment of your car...kinda like Christmas all over again.
