We should meet in NYC, at perhaps Keen's Chophouse. Then either before or after we can go see the NY International Car show (in March).
Keen's is on W 36th st. Just up from the Javits.
Now rated in the top ten steak houses in NY.
Been in business since the mid 1800's as an opium den, gentlemans club, private mens club and then a steakhouse.
The steaks are great... expensive but great.

You're alive?
Hey metal-morphus: On more than one occassion I've e-mailed you regarding your process for plating the underside of Cobra hoods. You have not had the courtesy to reply. Are you in business or not? Or are you simply not a nice person? Or have you not been getting my e-mails?

Hey there Metal-morphus: I'm glad to see the reason you haven't returned my inquiries is that you haven't gotten the e-mails as opposed to the other reasons. Your spam filter probably got me. My car is curently being painted here in East Longmeadow and I definitely want you to do your magic on the hood. Do I bring the hood to you or do you pick it up? Anyway, I'll call you sometime next week. Best regards, Mike

Mike, youll have to get the hood to us, some of our ERA customers find it easier to drop the hood off at ERA and I will pick it up there but were only about a 20 minute ride for ERA. looking forward to your call

Why not have and ERA get together at the TVR show on Columbus day weekend at Round Valley Reservoir in NJ.
The TVR guys told me to bring more Cobra's next time I come. There are a lot of ERA's in the NY / NJ / Pa area.

I took delivery of ERA 427 #610 in Febuary of 2001, and have
building it and have had lots of fun driving it. Enjoy the car!

That is a great idea. How far in (minutes) would that be from the George Washington Bridge? I have always been a fan of the old TVR Grantura style (Griffith).

Here's #414
Built by Phil Cool in 1996 in Sonoma County Calif. I bought it in Oct 2004. Has a 1965 427 side-oiler block, 1966 aluminum police interceptor intake, aluminum heads from Shelby American (the new company, not the original one). Engine is off to Keith Craft to work his magic - can't wait to get it back together! Who says the original guys are the only ones who can have a directory - we can create ours online right here for free!

nice to see this thread revived. Did any of you NE guys get together last summer??? I think it would be 'fun' to do an ERA registry. I'll put a little thing together if ya'll are interested. Nothing fancy, a pamphlet would do. Are there enough ERA's identified/accounted for to make it worthwhile?? Someday when I don't have all these little ones taking up my breath and time and space I would love to see the ERA place, and visit with all ya'll up north aways...
Does ERA keep track of the people that call to order parts, or anything in any kind of record keeping??

Goddess,
When ever you call Bob, Peter or Fernando to order parts they always ask for your chassis number. They keep the records plus they don't sell to non-ERA owners.

Looks like all the ERA owners are out of the woodwork today...It's nice to see how many of you (us) are lurking on this site...we all should make a registry or club or somethin'... nice to read about you (all) and your cars.

Haven't seen any come out of the woodwork in Dixie. Here's ERA409 in North Carolina. Just refreshed the 427 so in time for short trips on the Blue Ridge and some laps around VIR.
