Mrud,
Lynn and I would be up for it. Anywhere within about a 3 hour distance would be good - Poconos, Phila, NY, Jersery all are fine. It's monkeybutt after that . Someplace with scenic winding back roads for a cruise would be a big plus.
If there is something I can help with let me know.

Sounds like fun but I suspect the first choice for a location would likely be on the east coast or perhaps the midwest. If something comes together on the west coast, I'd be there.

I still vote for the fling for the east coast owners and those of us from the left coast that are going to be there.

I'M UP FOR A SUMMER ROAD TRIP TO AN ERA GATHERING AS LONG AS IT'S NOT TOO FAR AWAY. THE SOUTH OR MID WEST WOULD BE FINE.

I vote for the fling. If DonC coming from Oregon can make it to Ohio, anybody can, well except maybe Ernie.....
I'm still unsure if I'm making it to the fling, but maybe. 18 hours (at least) towing sounds kinda tough for me. It's still a tentative thing. Although I might just 'fly' in and bring a picture???

CG:
My wife will probably fly back and meet me and then we'll return to Oregon together after a couple of days visiting family in Cleveland.
Have your hubby trailer your car back and you fly in. All the good stuff and none of the hassle and long driving days.

Don, say that again, a little slower.... She is flying TO ohio, and driving with you back to Oregon, or she is driving TO ohio, and flying back to Oregon? My problem is those 4 screaming rugrats.....
I don't want hubby or kids along on the trip; but who knows, they are part of my family..... guess they could come along for the ride.... I'd like to dump them in Missouri with their cousins.....
It just might be easier for me to fly to Cleveland, and fly back home. Leave the cobra in Texas..... go for the fun and fellowship....

I have never been to Swizterland? How about that. Maybe we could charter a plane. Too bad Turk no longer has an ERA. He could probably sponser the entire trip along with car haulage!

mrud Is your car #678? Was at ERA on Sat and it just came out of the paint shop. Black with a red stripe. Very Sharp. I red one was being completed with a BB ford under the hood. Place is busy as always on a Sat. I would be interested in a get togeather. I can't drive on the road unless I get a dealer plate to borrow. I would tow it to the place and meet you for dinner later. They is a little show starting up in south Jersery. 45 minutes from east brunswick. Kitcar show in PA. may be another place to get the ERA gang together for a intro. Something to think about. ERA Gathering
Sounds like fun, but I think most ERAs are East Coast and for me that's not too accessable especailly with the car.

I'll be in Huntington Beach one evening the tail end of March or first of April. Maybe we can have our own gathering of two.

ERA Gathering
Don - Sounds good to me. I have little control over a business travel schedule that can mess up the best layed plans, but let's figure on getting together. Let me know when you have your dates and local figured out and I'll try to block out the date. Are you traveling alone or with wife or other party that may have interest in a day or evening together?

Texas ERA Gathering (aka TCC Annual Meeting)
Why don't you come to Austin on March 17-19. There are five ERA owners from Texas that are getting together ... and another 60 or so other Cobras are going to join us!

ERA Gathering
Don - Let me know how your schedule plays out. If possible to get together even for a short visit, that would be great.
CobERA - March 17 = Sisters birthday (she takes that stuff seriously) Also scheduled to leave on a midnight flight that date for Asia.
I have a very good friend and business associate in Houston area, so maybe can figure a way to combine a little business and pleasure in the near furture. Thanks for the invite. I do appreciate it. Just need a rain check.
