Bob,
I am in the VERY early planning stage at the moment. All on paper. I do have a question regarding the JAG IRS offering from ERA.
I am trying to stick as much as 800hp (not that much for sure, but using this number to be safe) through the Jag rear. Previous discussion here :
Rear end ratings .
Today I just noticed that one of the options ERA offers is a partial rear end kit, where the customer supplies the "differential, brake calipers, hubs, bearings and labor ". I do take it that this is the ERA AL frame and setup for outboard brakes??? I also assume that this is offered for someone in my position.
So my question is, what would be the best pumpkin to put in there? I would assume that the Dana 44 would bolt in, so would a beefed up Dana 44 be the ticket (hardened gears,3:31 ratio, support cover)? Or how feasible would a 9" work, or is it even possible to fit? If so what would need to change, or how difficult of a task would it be?. Guess we could take it to the extreme and ask the same about the Dana 60?
What is the price on this kit as well? PM me this info if you need to.
What is the Cosby mobile running for a rear-end?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
