ERA154 Need to CONFIRM Shipping date
Hi Bob, Perhaps I should call Peter or ERA directly with this question?
Johan in Norway wants to purchase ERA 154. Due to STRICT import rules\laws\taxes it is IMPERATIVE that the original build\ship date be established. All though I have LOTS of original documentation that came with the car I have nothing that can 'nail down' the year of build\shipment from the factory that would be acceptable to 'customs'.
Can ERA provide some document on company letterhead that could establish the year of build\shipment from the factory? Of course I would be willing to pay for whatever documents, time, would be required. PLEASE HELP! Johan wants the car and I really would like to sell it to him!

We can supply documentation on the delivery of the kit, but not any information on the date of original registration, since that's done by the customer. I hope that's enough for Norway.

I understand! I figured the only way to nail down actual REGISTRATION of the kit itself would be through the original owner. I am hopeful a SHIP date of the kit would be all that is needed. Can you mail said document to my home address? I will then forward to Johan who can check with Norway officials to see if it is enough.
I am attempting to contact the original owner in Texas (from my records) but have not been able to do so as yet. I can PM you with my address. Thanks for the reply.

E-Mail sent! Thanks for the prompt attention to this Bob!
Interesting side note:
I never figured I would find a buyer listing the car here on Club Cobra. "We" are notorius 'tire kickers'. I thought when I got serious I would list it on Cobra Country. Well, it appears that at least in THIS case, a Club Cobra 4 sale ad works just fine!

Hey Flip,
Couldn't reach DHX right away so I called "Ship My Car". $2000 from Honolulu to LA to Panama Canal to Norway. Not a bad price! NOT in a container, but parked below deck.
Now for the fun part, HOW does a guy exchange funds on an international deal?

Uh Oh!!! I try again.
eracars @ sbcglobal. com
Hmmm, resending to ERACARS @ SBCGLOBAL. NET instead of DOT COM. Perhaps thats the problem?
Also sent to your personal e-mail (which I saw WAS .NET).

Yup. Considering it might actually be shipped west to Europe.
