Ping Bob
Bob,
Just sent you an email.
Edit I do not suggest UPS ever again for critical overnight deliveries (again not the fault of ERA)

Bob,
Just an FYI as this is not the fault of ERA, I just got off the phone with UPS (again), looks like they dropped the ball and misplaced the Red label package between last night and this morning. Spoke with one supervisor who promised me a call back by 10:30am (now 11:08am) which of course did not happen. Oh well, another weekend shot to hell due to UPS........

If I had known before 2pm yesterday what I know now I would have and been on my way to Delaware early this morning. According to the Eastern Area supervisor at UPS (call at 13:28pm this afternoon) it never left the terminal in CT at all yesterday. In fact he had it in his hands........No sense in crying about it, I'll have the part some time on Saturday, but the weekend plans are a bust. Not even going to pull the car out of the trailer until some time next week to work on it I am that disgusted..........But as they say, everything happens for a reason, let's hope it is at least a good one...........

Bill,
Sorry that the package got lost in the terminal. Next time I'll put it the emergency shipments in a LARGE box that can't be misplaced.
UPS has given us pretty good service over the years. You are the first that I can remember that had an Overnight package that didn''t make it.
I see over on Brand X forum that someone just went on a rant about Fedex too. I guess we're back to strapping the stuff to pigeons...

Bob,
If a package is ever routed through the Secaucus, NJ UPS terminal it has a 40% chance of being "misplaced" or just out and out lost. In this case at from a direct cut and paste of the tracking:
" WATERTOWN, CT, US 9/28/2006 10:55 P.M. THE PACKAGE WAS LEFT IN A UPS FACILITY CAUSING THIS DELAY;FORWARDED TO THE FACILITY IN THE DESTINATION CITY"
That as of 10:55pm last night they knew there was a problem but did nothing about it at all. Instead I can just imagine some low level UPS employee saying to another "let the manager deal with it in the morning as we do not get paid enough to deal with it"
Just heard from a local race shop (who was trying to match something up that might have worked) that they too had a red label pckage go missing here in NJ today that they needed for a race on Saturday afternoon.......
