ERA Trip
Weather permitting, I'll be driving up to ERA Saturday to check up on my FIA car with my digital SLR. If you have a car up there in process that you want pictures of let me know the chassis number (and a brief description). I'll do my best to get some decent shots for you. If you give me an e-mail address, it will make it easier for me to get the pictures to you.
Sam, I have your #745 on my agenda.

I recall when I made the similar stop in '03 - its a great time in the process, especially if you have never been there before.
Keep your wallet in the car - if you get upstairs into the stock room, you will come away a few $$$ lighter than when you went in there.
Be sure to check out the special "winter curing technique" ERA uses for the bodies......

Actually, I've been up there about every 6-8 weeks and the first time that I saw my car was in Feb of 2006. It was in the "winter cure" process at that time.

I put down the deposit in September of 05. That's why I really have to laugh at the guys who are upset about having to wait for their SPF or SAI for 4-5 months.
The upside is that at least I'll know mine is done right when I get it.

No, SPF's are one of the best built cars in the industry. I meant as opposed to trying to rush the build which usually results in sloppy workmanship in any industry.
