Parts in the trailer?
Bob would you double check to make sure that Pete has a little room for my steering shaft assembly and Mike Hahns side pipes. He will pick up the pipes at my house on Sunday. He didnot want them shipped. Does the quick release hub come with the shaft?? The stock wheel from you guys will work on this, Right?? Rick Lake

The quick release comes with the hub and the shaft, and works with the stock wheel.

Bob is a responsible guy and Lord knows that he has many of them at ERA... but what goes into the trailer is beyond his purview. Depending on the mood of the teamsters engaged for the transport job, that junk may be dropped off at the scrap yard in Scranton as we make the turn onto I81... fuel and food money, ya know?. Jim Holden To the ERA chauffeur, truck driver, saleman, lawyer, accountant,builder and owner of exotic cars, too many to list, would it be possible for the 3 items to ride on top of the trailer if there is no room inside the rig:confused: I would like think that the honorary ERA car owner and part time racer who gets his wonderful car on the mag cover would be given a little leway for the delivery of a couple small parts. I try very hard to keep the ERA name in print any time I race. I am sure I could work out a dinner arangement for the driver. If not could the happy guy with the chrome motor with the webers (Steve) have a little room??%/ The ERA members work together at the R&G and came home with some awards. The Wall of winners is getting larger. It's a long drive to Conn. and being you are in the area, JIM CAN YOU HELP!!!!!:eek: :eek: ;) :o :) Rick L Ps I will be there Sat about 10:00am.

Westlake heads?
Jim HOLDEN I went to Carlisle for the ford national show. Jim guy had a set of heads and weber intake plates. What's the worth?? Rick L. Heads where blank. no valves, springs, keepers, Bare A$$.

New heads are now upwards of $15k. I assume the ones you were looking at were used. Further assuming that they are not cracked or "cut" so much that they can't be rebuilt, they should be in the $5K to $7k range, I would think. Jim |

They where with a guy selling cammer concepts. Did not have time to talk about them. The ports are the size of a boss head. The adapters for the webers where there also. Do you know what the specs are for the heads and if the heads where cut? Rick Are you looking for another set??? Your second question first: Whatever parts were schlepped to Carlisle were in the two car "Jaquester" trailer. I knoweth not what was to be taken out for you. As to the heads, I might be interested. Do you have any contact info for the seller? Jim |
