Default ERA Event

Just a thought, Bill Prout, who runs Sports Car Driving Association (SCDA1.com) has a past relationship with ERA and knows Peter and gang well. Maybe we can set up an event in conjunction with one of their track events.
I was at their 6/19 event at Lime Rock and there appeared to be a Lotus group that came "en mass" and had a blast.
They run at NHI, LRP and WGI on a variety of days (mid week and week ends). It's a little expensive ($250 at some $325 at LRP) but its a great experience and if you don't run you don't pay. Not everyone has to drive so it could be a social gathering in the area too.

ACK:

We have been talking about doing such an event for years. Practically, (because of noise limitations) it would be at either the Glen or Pocano.

Default Track Days

NHI is a cute little track with lots of places to hold social events. Somehow the 6/19 event at LRP was "open muffler".

I have a vague memory of a SAAC convention at LRP that was "open muffler", I think LRP has a limited number of "open muffler" days they are allowed in a year and getting one of those days for your event may not be easy.

We have gone to NH as well. The group has been eother PDA or CCOM. Another group that has some space from time to time is the NE Quatro Club.

So, let's talk.

Pat-

I know Bill Prout from when we were instructors together in the earlier days of the Skip Barber School and race series. Truly one of the funniest people I have ever met. Any event with him any where near it would be great fun.

Lime Rock does have a limited number of open muffler days and I believe these can be somewhat flexible if planned far enough in advance.
