Default FIA trans tunnel cut out for Ricmond 5 speed

Do you have a sketch or template that shows measurements as to where to cut the hole in the top of the trans tunnel for a richmond 5 speed in an FIA?

Default Make a small drill hole in the cover

Snakebit If the measurment is not in the manual (rough) install the trans and shifter, without the handle and measure from the back of the inside the back panel to the center of the shifter assembly and do the same from either door to the center. Make sure you have the cover in location before you do the measuring. Measure twice and drill once, 1/8 hole to start. Once you are centered with the 1/8" hole, get a holedrill kit and open it up to 1/2" under the size of the rubber boot and retainer ring on all sides. Make sure the floor mount holes are all seen or put bolts in them to center the tunnel. My tunnel is 1/2" off to the left to clear the shifter rods on my 6-spd. My tunnel now has a metal plate to give the room needed and the tuneel is back in orginial location. Rick L Ps there is info in the manual in body and interior group.
