Default FIA side pipe installation??

Can someone post some pictures of the FIA side pipe installation? According to the manual it looks like there's two metal pieces per side pipe (one welded to the pipe (the tab?)) and the other piece is bolted to the frame and tab. I'm interested in knowing what gets welded to the pipe (pictures of this would be great). My pipes don't have any tabs welded. Also the installation kit came with two metal pieces (if these are the tabs, don't I need hangers?), some bolts and nuts, and four hard rubber pads.

Default Fia Sidepipe installation

I have ERA 2107 with pipes & primaries provided from them. In my case the tabs were welded on both primaries and sidepipes by ERA. the bracket you mentioned welds to the side pipe at a floor support under the car. There is also a small piece of rubber ( looks like tire side wall material) that bolts to the floor support and to the bracket. The slip fit of the primaries and side pipes should be lined up prior to welding to allow for the nuts & bolts that holds them together to line up upon installation. If you did not get the exhaust from ERA its a totally unique fabrication that depends on which motor and headers etc.

Thanks Tom! Those pictures tell the story.. I ordered the complete exhaust system from ERA and paid an extra $150 to have the welding done. I guess there's a shortage of welding rods in CT??

Hey Tom,
Thanks for the pictures too! I'm actually working on my side pipes too! The pics are great and show some changes in the chassis from mine. The side brackets that hold the exhaust pipes are different on my car. Yours allow more room for the side pipes.. I might have to re think some things. I'm having to scratch build everything and it's fun BUT exhausting (pardon the pun)! Thanks for the pics! Matt.
