Pictures really don't do the color justice.

I saw it when I was there in June:

Glad to see it coming along so nicely!

Well I hope it's at least a roller as Marc just borrowed my trailer and is supposedly on his way up there for a Monday pick up.

What a cool car! I love the 289 car because they are more rare. You've taken it to another level by doing what no body else would replicate. The color scheme works really well and I love the underhood use of what looks like the creme color. I hope it's getting Webbers too!

As a matter of fact it is getting webbers. I will be installing a regular 4 barrel to debug everything, then, off it comes and on goes the webbers. I am planning on using a thermostat in the intake housing design.

Just an update. We picked up 2112 this morning and it got it home this afternoon. Just started unpacking the boxes taking a look at the work that has to be done. Needless to say I am very excited!

In different threads, others have stated in the that the folks at ERA are a great group to work with, and through first hand experience I agree. Peter P, Doug, Jack and Bob have been great to work with, always returning calls and taking the time to answer questions that you know they must have answered 100s of times before and making sure that you understand the answer.

As to those of you that have commented on the color, let me say that in the sun, the the cream color really looks awesome. The paint was done by Tony, all in House of Kolor paints. As to the color scheme, it was picked by my wife. And as Warren mentioned the numbers 221 are for Feb 21st the birthday of my son.

I will post some pictures as the work progresses with the build.

For the record, I have now seen and touched this car. I imagine that I will be seeing quite a bit more of it in the near future as our intrepid new ERA owner delves in to the realm of what goes where and why .
