Default ERA FIA2108: final assembly- question on speedo gear

Bob, et al:
What is the correct speedo gear to fit into the TKO-600 to replace the electronic speedo-sensor module? I bought a "pink" one from Mustangs Unlimited, but this has a pin on the end of it and does not seem to fit the TKO-600 (which appears to have a slot---or at least, that's what if felt like to my fingertips...). Did I buy the wrong gear, or am I working on my car too late at night after too many beers?

I think you're poking into the wrong hole...

I'll skip the obvious joke...

I don't recall "that" hole on my TKO, but I'll look. I was looking on the other side, just opposite of where you're pointing and painfully close to the e-brake bracket.

So, what is the little gizmo that I pulled out of the other side?

And, by the way, the switch/wire on the tail-shaft to the right side of your photo: That IS the reverse light switch, isn't it?

I'll take a look at it tonight (pre- or sans- beer).

Just talked to my wife on the phone. I could hear my German Shepherd going completly bananas in the background. It seems my new alternator bracket has arrived...

Default ARP studs or bolts 351w FIA-Which?

Hi,

Just a quick jump-in on this thread. The engine builder recomends using studs for the heads if clearance allows. Meaning...would I be able to pull the heads off with studs installed. Anyone out there using studs on a 351w ERA FIA? tx mike
