Default clutch slave mounting surface

ERA is right (of course). The old connection leaks when mounted on the new slave.
See the difference in the new (left) and the old. Meaning I have to change the connection too, and hopefully it will fit into the old master -- or the story continues.

I have a new hose from ERA to run from the master to the slave and it matches the connection of the old hose to the slave but is totally different at the master cylinder end. The old connection I have is similar to the slave end.
Am I missing something?
Thanks.

These are nothing more that hydraulic brake hoses. Go to any well stocked auto parts house with sample in hand. NO Big deal.......save time. Perhaps you can use an adapter in lieu of different hose.

They slave is in and working.
Neat little trick to change the parts configuration (BMW) without telling anybody. ERA alerted me.

It's usually a bad idea to use a brake hose in a clutch system. Brake hoses are usually -3 size but, in order for a clutch to release fast enough for performance shifts, a clutch line must be at least -4, even for a short path. Car and Driver managed to cook a clutch doing their usual car-abuse when testing one of our early cars. Cost me a trip to L.A. to put in a new one.

That's what happens when a car gets built by road-racers who don't abuse the machinery, except in the corners.

Default Mission Accomplished

Thanks for all the help. With your help and more, slave and master have been installed and adjusted. Went for a run today and everything appears to be working fine. And what fun it is (driving).
