Default 758 update

Just a quick update on #758- Progressing right along, the drivetrain is installed, wiring is done, suspension mostly done. I just installed the exhaust system and mounted the wheels to see how it all looks. I was going to paint the pipes black, but am going to leave them white for the time being. Hope to start the engine in another week or so, then just start doing the debugging, interior, alignment, etc. The quality of the ERA parts is outstanding. Plus you have the added entertainment value of dealing with Peter.

Just click on the box below the picture in your gallery and copy it with a Cntl-C and then drop it here with a Cntl-V, like this:

Thanks Sam. I thought I did what you said but must've screwed it up. Maybe I'll paint one side black so I can have both

Thanks ZOERA. Ron Randall did a great job on the body and paint. Engine is a KC Pond block 482. Just a little under 600HP. I hope to start the engine within a week or 2. I should have everything done as soon as we have about 2' of snow on the ground.

Bob-
That color really does look good. And I agree with the others, paint 'em black!

Lets try this picture thing again-
The coating is from Swain Technology and is thick and has a texture like 120 grit sand paper. They also coat the inside of the primaries as far as they can reach. You can paint it no problem, I was just thinking I wanted to see what it looks like after a few miles and heat cycles. I probably will end up painting them black. The pipes are from ERA but I gave them Classic Chambered mufflers to integrate so we'll see how they sound. The muffler section is longer than the regular ERA umit.

Leave the primaries as they are. I have silver ceramic coated primaries, but I painted the sidepipes black. Looks good (and functional) under the hood, and the sidepipes are like I wanted.
The only thing about white sidepipes is they take attention away from the body color. Just a couple of cans of heat paint to change. You can have your cake and eat it too.
