Default update on 2112

I am getting close to starting the car. I still have a few steps to go:

1) Install the exhaust (it is at the coaters), headers are installed
2) Install the distributor (getting the shaft drilled for the comp cams composite gear)
3) Fill with fluids
4) I need to replace a faulty ammeter and heater switch.
5) I also have to bend the passenger side wiper arm to allow it to rest on the bottom of the windshield without hitting the side support of the windshield.

Some things of note; hidden under the dash are the switches for the seat heaters, also, I placed a 12V power point under the dash.

I have put some of the interior photos in my gallery..I was having too much trouble trying to get them to post with this update. The seats are beige with green piping (we tried to match the nose stripe)

Wow, your interior looks great; really ties the color scheme together.

thanks...but I can't take any credit for it, it's all my wifes doing. It took a little bit longer to get the carpet and leather, but I agree it looks great.

You did a great job. I remember seeing this car in an unfinished state at ERA, and now it's just stunning. Great work, and good luck.

hi LodiWino, I bought the seat heaters and Jack at ERA installed the seat heaters as he was building the seats. He even ran the wires thru the door sill for me. Then Bob P. created a harness with a relay to seamlessly install into the existing ERA wiring. As to the paint, Tony at Tony Autobuilders did the paint. Once again, my wife picked the colors and had Tony modify the HOK white to make it look more creamy.

Zoera, thanks for the kind words

Marc,
Excellent project, looks great.
Well-meaning suggestion; get some clear film chip protection on the fender hips beforeyou take it out of the garage.
