This is an addendum to Fred's thread "ERA 573 final assemble in progress"
Fred had his cobra dropped off here at Metal-morphous inc. to get few small paint repairs done and while it was here its was polished out. I also freshen up the morphed hood and sidepipes. Now thats it finished I thought it interesting to see the differences between ERA 148 and ERA 573. The changes are very nice but the big difference is the engine Fred asked me to take it out for a drive to see if there was any big differances between the two and I found one that stands out,, ERA 573 is a beast!!! it scares you but in a good way The first thing you find very nice is that it starts in 5 seconds with out touching the gas pedal, it fires up and run smooth. Then you add a little fuel and WOW does this thing come alive!! the response is instant and the power,, well I figured I was only at 1/4 throttle when I took it out and my 427 is no slouch but I now have a new respect for this technology
Enjoy the picture

Thank guys and Bob your right, the mag rims are nice but need to be cleaned more often than aluminum. Now get back to work on your cobra, spring is getting closer
