Street,

I have the Lucas fuse blocks on mine. For some reason they had trouble handling the cooling fan current. Several blown fuses, a couple of overheats and two melted boxes later I decided to add a fan relay and everything seems to be fine.

Hey Bob:

I coming in early this week to drop off some stuff to Peter and Doug. I'd like to get some supplies from you (wire and ends) to extend the starter solenoid from it's present place on the firewall to the top of the wheel well like the originals. I spoke to doug and he said no problem and no performance of electrical issues I have to worry about. Then I can mount my Trico bottle in the same space. Is it possible you can work up the proper colors and lengths of wire to make this happen. Obviously I'll pay Peter whatever the cost is for the material.

Any hints on the extension? I'm looking to avoid a "clump" of splices so I am thinking either stage them out along the harness or maybe use some liquid tape along with twisting the two connections together and soldering...You tell me or tell me I'm crazy.
