Rick, you must be smoking those funny cigarettes again...unless you got another motor! Let's see now, what were those dyno results? I've got them around here somewhere...

Seriously, how's the car and the Houston gang? Hope you, Dorothy and the family are doing well. Have fun at San Marcos!

I just placed a piece of cardboard in front of the oil cooler. Most people don't notice it because they don't look down that far. It increased my oil temps approx 40 degrees ( 21F OAT, oil went from 150 to 190, 40F OAT, oil went from 160 to 200-210). Was about 220 the other day when it was in the 60's.

Default Moss Motors sells an MGB Oil Cover that fits 10 row coolers

Moss Motors sells a black plastic cover that covers one side of a 10 row oil cooler that has side arms that wrap around the sides of the cooler. These arms flex open to "snap" around the cooler. The cover also has some form on the inside to protect the cooler surface and prevent the cover from being loose.

If you have an OSH hardware store - go ask for "1/8" rubber diaphram in the sheet.

-- get yourself a 1'x'1 slice and that way you can make 2 of them. (one for you one for a freind, to or to messup on)

-- dont forget to take a manila folder with you and a pentel sharpie so you can make a pattern and then cut the rubber to match.

my oil on cold nights stays at 80-90C in a small block ford. (326CI)
