Undercar exhaust setup -- 428 Street car.
Guys-- does anyone have pictures of the header / manifold setup for the ERA 428 Street car >? (undercar exhaust )
I went and viewed CSX 3357 (a 428 Street car ) that it undergoing restoration and got an idea for the manifolds and wanted to see what else was being done in the 428 space !
Thanks in advance !!-- Steve

Steve I have plenty of undercar exhaust shots for you. PM me an e-mail address, I'll send you more than you know what to do with.

We use the standard 4 separate primary pipes that we use with the side-pipes into a special collector that takes a 90 degree bend and necks down to the diameter of the muffler.

Bob - is the system plain steel, aluminized or by chance ceramic coated. I'm considering the same thing for my order?

Originally the pipes are plain steel since we have to weld brackets to them. At a minimum, we ceramic coat the primary pipes to keep the heat down and for longevity. The rest can be coated to your preferences.

Hi Bob,
How about welding stainless steel brackets to the pipes?
