ERA 757 .... First Run
After 14 months , my lady and I took a checkout ride this afternoon . Still have to get the final alignment done and do a few other adjustments ... and then go over everything again .... but I`m driving !
Managed about 25 miles today and now need to read the plugs and adjust the carb some more , but it runs !!!
Speak about loud ..... just what a Cobra should be !
Beautiful day with the temperature in the low 90`s .... water temp at 180 while moving and maybe 185 while at some lights . Oil pressure .... 55 psi at cruise and 35 psi at idle and oil temps at 180 when I got on it some , but I did have to tape the oil cooler off to get any oil temp.
Life is good !!!

Congrats on getting it on the road. I have all of 185 miles on mine and still sorting out a few minor things. Loud, yes. Fast, yes. I took my youngest daughter for a ride yesterday and she said to me "EVERYONE looks at us!".
Have fun.

Congratulations Bobcat! Sounds like all of the engine "vital signs" were perfect for your first drive.

Congrats on your first run. It's been about one year since my first run and I'll never forget it. Good luck and post some pics.

Congratulation on getting it on the road, a great time to have it finished, you'll have the whole summer to enjoy it.

Thanks guys .... I have tons of pictures I took during the build , however , I`m the complete computer illiterate . As soon as I can figure how to get them posted I will .
We are having a Beach Blast downtown in about 2 weeks and I`m really looking forward to dropping in on that .... and everything else I can find .
My Galaxie is now feeling like an orphan as it hasn`t been driven for over two weeks now .

+1 Went for a nice ride this weekend with the kids and enjoyed it thoroughly. They seem to enjoy the attention, stares, smiles, pointing, questions, thumbs up even more than I.
Congrats on getting your ERA up and running! Many more happy miles.
