We are on the home stretch … John sent some more photos (thanks John!) … and the car looks absolutely great! The grille is in and to me it makes the car, not a typical combination, but I really like it! The guys at ERA have built another beauty!
This is exactly what I was after … a clean 289 front end with quick jacks & grille!
Front end, steering rack and suspension
This is a very unique shot … from the motor mounts back, ready for motor and transmission ... don't get a view like this too often
Left rear suspension
Right rear suspension
Can't wait to see this baby outside and down on the ground

Wow, Tim..Looks great! I love the look of the grill without the oil cooler scoop, a la street car.
Is that a 235/295 Firestone combination you will be running?
Any engine build progress you can share (Pics??)?
- Allen.

Nicely done Tim. In the first picture, I was thinking "wow, you can make a lot of ice cubes with that grille!!!!"
ON the heater inlet/outlet at the firewall, are they going to supply grommets???

Thanks Allen ... The grille is pretty neat. You are correct, those are the Firestone 235 / 295 setup, Dangerous Doug has the same tires on 2108 and likes them. Not as high performance as the AVON tires, but a good set to start with.
Motor pics are coming soon, Tom at FE Specialties has the motor together and has run it in on the test stand. Once the Primary pipes are available from ERA, we will put the motor on the dyno and see what power we get from the 302

Herman ... You are right, will need to count the squares, to see how many cubes it will make
Good point on the heater pipes, need to check with Peter on that one.

Rick ... I believe it goes in with just a few screws, so you should be able to take it in and out without too much work, depending on the 'look' you want for your car.

Wow, its great to see so many cars nearing completion. I remember the feeling last year as the weather starts to improve...you begin to count every day and hope it will be done...
I bet you all are smiling from ear to ear!
