Original ford bumperettes
At Everett Morrison we have the factory ORIGINAL dies for the True Bumperettes. We offer a certificate of authenticity, these are NOT reproduction, NOT Chinese made, not plated.. These are the REAL deal
This is a early access before we offer these for sale on our website.

? The bumperettes AC used were not from a Ford. CSX2000 DID have a Ford bumperette but the CSX 2000/3000 cars had a unique piece made for AC. The AC pieces are plated whereas many of the current repro parts are polished stainless.

Exactly what I was thinking. The original bumperettes were not Ford parts.

They're obviously referring to the ultra-rare fabric units that you can get in various colors, as they have the "original dyes" !!

Baffling, I bought the original dyes too.
They are for the rubber briskets that hang off my car.

Welll I love a good brisket, but when undercooked it can be like rubber.

I will get pics of the entire process and finished product very soon when we get it off the pallets. It’s 6 full pallets @3klbs each. Don’t mean to hold you guys up. Just going to take me a minute with the busy days we have been having trying to get cars out the door! Stick with me!

Folks are still waiting for the "factory ORIGINAL, True - NOT reproduction, NOT Chinese made, not plated.. REAL deal bumperettes" that incidentally were never made by Ford.
I'm bringing this up not to be a jerk, but because this industry has been plagued by cheap, fast talking scammers who seek to capitalize on honest, trusting people who have generally waited and saved for a long time to realize a long time automotive dream. You may well be legit and well-intentioned, but this bulls--t about authentic Ford parts that never existed simply stinks.
Now you're coming on here trying to round up Everett Morrison owners for a Facebook group. E-M has some devoted aficionados because they offered a variety of suspension options based around a beautiful chassis design. Later on, they had a few issues that left a bad taste in some customers' mouths but they still maintained an enduring reputation as a solid, well built replica. If you are serious about reviving the venerable E-M brand and fostering an enduring relationship with existing owners and the wider Cobra community, please cut the bull and hype and realize that you are mostly dealing with seasoned enthusiasts who know a lot about the Cobra and the replica industry it spawned. Those who don't, have access to forums like this one with a wealth of information on not just the Cobra, but the entire replica industry and all of the pitfalls and scams it has endured over the decades.
Again, if you are indeed legit, please do not come across as just another shifty, fast talking, fly by night operator looking to screw honest people out of their hard earned dreams. As an industry, we have had more than enough of that.

Buzz, thank you for pointing out the problems with my posts. I apologize for not being more specific about what we're offering. The last thing we want to do is come across as being unethical or dishonest in any way.
Yes, I am now in the position to try and provide additional exposure for Everett Morrison Motorcars. A company that I and many others consider one of the best in replicating the Cobra that we all love and many can only dream of.
What we have are the actual dies from 1963 that are stamped FoMoCo that are used to manufacture the bumperettes, which were the standard bumper from Ford when Ford was building the consumer version Gen3 Cobra. I will provide additional information and photos when I get to the shop tomorrow.
Again, I apologize if I seemed to be over zealous about our products. I just know what we have to offer.* I'm extremely proud of what Everett Morrison Motorcars brings to the community. Thank you!

You're trying to pass these parts as original parts. They are simply parts made in (questionably) the same molds. They are not new old stock. Even the molds could have been seconds and stashed away. You have no way of knowing if these are the molds actually USED TO MAKE THE ORIGINALS or spares that sat in a warehouse somewhere.
They are not worth any more than modern day copies.
You'll sell 2 or 3.

Yep, you get a certified original copy. Not a second or third generation copy but a brand new first generation copy.

The thing is - the AC/Shelby Cobra MK III, more commonly referred to as the "427" was designed with engineering input from Ford in 1964, but was still built by AC in England and shipped to the US starting in 1965 where Shelby's operation fitted the Ford derived drivetrain and finished the cars out. Unless you're referring to something else altogether, Ford never built a "consumer version Gen3 Cobra".

You are correct, my bad. I was wrong about that part. Was 64-65?
