Mustang ll front end upgrade
My Cobra came with the stock Mustang ll front end with spings and shocks. I would like to switch to coilovers so to be able to adjust the ride hight. Are there any upgrades available or does anybody make a kit?
thanks |
Check with these guys, I used their stuff on the front of my first Cobra, a Midstates. They were good to deal with, and they were solid pieces. That was about 15 years ago, and the fact they are still around must prove something. It was fully adjustable, including the strut rod.

Carrerra and QA1 make a bolt in kit that requires no other changes....the coil-over spring rides the shock and fits into the normal pocket at the top..google 'Mustang II Coil Over' and scan for best prices; here is one hit:

Here's another company that deals with Mustang II suspension parts.

How much extra height can I get with the QA-1 ??? I have a Moroso 7 qt oil pan and do not have much clearance.
