First go kart!!
Finally, last night, and it was great!! No major issues, one brake line fitting had two small drips, easily tightened. I haven't even started on final tune of engine, and it was still awesome! Carb is right out of the box, I may need to rejet to dial in. Timing is 10 init, and 32 total, I need to change springs and bushing in distr to get 38 total, all in by 3,000. Ride height is a little low after suspension has settled in after a few laps around the 'hood. I had neighbors stepping outside and waving. Women grabbing their kids from the sidewalk. (just joking on that last sentence!!)
I've never ridden in a roadster replica (any brand) until I drove mine last night! I did ride in (not drive!) an original 289 Cobr@ back in '69, and I've wanted one ever since!
