Question about wheels and offsets for Factory Fives
Hey guys. Just picked up a Factory Five MKIII Cobra at a classic car auction and decided to get on here to learn a bit more about the car.
I wanted to post up this one question as I figured you guys would be best at answering it.
Currently the car has 15" Halibrand Wheels w/ 275/50/15 Rear and 235/50/15 Front Tires that are a general street tire.
I want to change these out for a larger rim (thinking 17") and a more aggressive tire (maybe r-compound).
So 1) What companies make hi quality 1pc or 2pc or 3pc wheels in 17" for the car and 2) Whats the largest width, and lowest offsets I can go and 3) what size tires do you recommend on those?
Thanks for all the help in advanced. If this has been covered already please link me to the thread as I did a search and came up empty handed.
